Wood Carver: Mark Strom

Modern Masters : Episode MAS-311 -- More Projects »
"That's deep." These words could easily describe the work of wood carver Mark Strom. Describing his approach to carving as "working from the inside out," he reaches new levels of artistry when creating his custom-carved headboards, tables and doors.

Studying nature gives his pieces added dimension. He spends weeks observing his subject before he makes a single cut in the wood.
