Boxes Made Easy

Carol Duvall Show : Episode CDS-124 -- More Projects »
Carol demonstrates some of the many possibilities for making boxes. She notes that unfinished wooden boxes, available in craft and some furniture stores, may be painted or stained. Decorative wooden pieces, found in craft and woodworking stores, may be attached with a glue gun. One of Carol's examples has been stained and another has been painted black, with the decorative pieces painted gold.

Carol also introduces a book that contains cardboard patterns that may be turned into gift boxes by merely punching and folding along the scored lines. She recommends tracing the pattern once it is punched out and before it is folded so that you have a permanent box template.
