Dee Gruenig, owner of Posh Impressions, shares her expertise by demonstrating several of her techniques for brayer rolling: reversing a stamped image, using a rainbow pad with the brayer, and using pens, such as Marvy Markers, to create designs on the brayer. She creates a jungle motif by using the brayer to roll-on trees and bamboo in the background, and then applying animal stickers to the foreground. Gruenig also shows a card that has an acetate window with an image behind. She reminds viewers to clean the brayer between rolls.
She also talks about and demonstrates a hand-dyed rainbow pad. Gruenig mentions that the brayer must be made of soft rubber which can then be drawn on with Brush Art Markers to stamp stripes and plaids. Her designs develop a watercolor look when she uses a simple sponge paint roller.
