Stamping The Unstampable

Carol Duvall Show : Episode CDS-227 -- More Projects »
Carol demonstrates how to use a product that allows crafters to stamp on materials that previously were incompatible with the process, including glass, tile, unfinished wood and mirrors.

Materials:

ZimInk Permanent Decorating Ink, colors as desired
ZimInk Stamp Conditioner and Cleaner
ZimInker Rubber Stamp Pads

Steps:
  1. Pour the desired color of ink into the rubber stamp pad. Experiment to find how much ink a pad needs.
  2. Replace the lid of pad, and put some of the ink on top of the lid so you can know what color the pad is without having to open it.
  3. Place the rubber side of the stamp on the damp surface of the pad.
  4. Before stamping on the object to be decorated, practice stamping on the same type of material until you achieve the desired results.
  5. Re-apply ink on the stamp between each application.
