Materials:

cotton or blend T-shirt
Magic Mould or other reheatable foam block
foam sheet
Arthur Baker Calligraphy fish stamp
Arthur Baker Calligraphy Sayings
heat-set fabric ink pads
heat tool
iron
laser paper

Steps:

1. Iron T-shirt until smooth.

2. Place foam sheet inside shirt where you plan to stamp designs. Set aside.

3. Heat Magic Mould block with a heat tool until soft, approximately 30 to 40 seconds.

4. Quickly press design onto the foam block (figure A).

5. Using a well-inked heat-set ink pad, tap color all over foam block (figure B).

6. Crumple up a piece of laser paper and use it to randomly remove some of the ink from the block to create a batik look.

7. Stamp the inked block onto the T-shirt (figure C).

8. Cover the stamped area with a sheet of laser paper and iron to heat-set.

9. Directly apply word stamps around the edges of the "batik" design (figure D).

10. Iron to heat set.

Tips: If the design does not turn out well on the Mould, simply reheat and stamp again. Clean Magic Mould directly under running water.
