  • One great thing to include in scrapbooks is greeting cards, as they are always sure to bring back fond memories.

  • Include magazine clippings. They can be used both for the pictures in them as well as for the letters, which can be used to spell out titles and phrases.

  • Make fun special effects with photos by using a color copier.

  • Scrapbooking supplies are available at most craft stores. Don't buy everything all at once, though. Start off with a few necessary materials and build your supply gradually, along with your style. Too many tools will just overwhelm you at first.

  • Decorative-edge scissors work really well for creating various borders around pages.
