Materials

5-1/4" x 7-1/2" light blue paper
5" x 7" light pink paper
12" x 12" heavy white card stock
paper for die cut letters
paper towel
spray bottle
double-sided foam tape (low)
acid-free glue stick

1. Condition Chunky Layers stamps by spraying with water and rubbing off.

2. Firmly press striped stamp (for background) onto ink pad. Lightly press onto paper towel to discharge some of the ink. Immediately mist several times with water (it should start to bead but not be too drippy) (figure A). Stamp onto background paper.

3. Re-mist and stamp one or two more times before repeating inking method. Do this until entire page is covered (figure B).

4. Ink moon and star stamp using the same method as mentioned above, stamping randomly (figure C).

5. Stamp extra star onto white scrap paper and cut out. Set aside.

6. Crop and frame desired photo in pink and blue paper. Glue in place on background paper (figure D).

7. Arrange lettering and secure to page using double-sided foam tape (figure E).

8. Using decorative punch, punch out several scrolls and glue to the back of the cut-out star. Apply Pop It and place onto now finished page.

Tip: Chunky Layers stamps can be used in cardmaking, home decorating (walls), or on textiles. A water-based ink is needed.
