Quilter / fabric designer Debbie Mumm shows several fabrics from her fabric line, and discusses pattern trends such as sunflowers and birdhouses. Gain insight on how creating a fabric line is similar to arranging fabrics in a quilt, using "anchor" fabrics and "complementary" fabrics that work together. See examples of good and bad fabric combinations (lights and darks, patterns and solids) and how to select background fabrics.
