Quilter Kathleen Sharp's collage quilts are an expression of artistry that can take years to develop. Her unusual fabric stash of rich fibers includes material purchased from furniture outlets. To create a design, Sharp cuts a piece of fabric and pins the pieces to a design wall until she's content with the appearance, then pieces it all together by machine. The results are stunning.
