Dessert-Themed Soaps: Lemon Bar, Chocolate Mint, Strawberry

1. Chop clear and white soap base into 1 inch pieces with a kitchen knife, and separate it into two containers. This soap will have two layers, a chocolate one and a mint one (figure A).

2. Weigh the soap base on a kitchen scale in a microwavable container. You will need one pound for each layer.

3. Microwave one pound of soap for three minutes.

4. Add colorant to the melted soap base.

5. Add fragrance to the melted soap base.

6. Pour the mint layer into the mold (figure B) and let it set.

7. Microwave the other pound of soap for three minutes.

8. Add cocoa powder to the soap and stir.

9. Pour the chocolate soap on top of the mint layer (figure C). Let it cool for an hour.

10. Mold the chocolate mint soap and chop it into bars (figure D).
