Materials:
Accu-Cut Mark IV" roller die cutting machine and dies: Star #1 Lg. #S2000
silver Mirricard reflective cardstock
Punchline" 1/4" Star Punch
green, red and clear marbles
tea light candle
Un-du adhesive remover
Xyron machine with adhesive cartridge
glass votive cup
teal satin fabric
teal decorative wire
cotton swabs
Steps:
- Apply the Xyron adhesive to the back of the silver Mirricard cardstock using the Xyron machine. Remove the paper from the adhesive backing and adhere to the teal fabric.
- Accordion-fold the fabric-covered Mirricard in the middle of the sheet with three folds, overlapping one more piece for the bottom.
- Cut the folded fabric-covered Mirricard by placing just inside the bottom points of the Star die and roll through the Accu-Cut machine. Cut two.
- Unfold the stars and adhere the bottoms and sides together so that complete stars form a square.
- Punch about 1/2" in on the side points of the stars using the star punch. Lace the decorative wire through the star punches and twist together. Wrap the wire around a pencil to curl.
- Fill the bottom half of the votive cup with marbles and position tea light candle on top.
- Set the filled votive cup in the star holder.
- Use Undu adhesive remover and cotton swabs to remove excess adhesive.
