Steps: 1. Base coat the raw kraft paper with two coats of Benjamin Moore Aquavelvet #2162-40. Allow to dry.
2. Mix one part Aquaglaze to one part Aquavelvet #1232.
3. Using the two-inch chip brush, apply glaze in a small area leaving unglazed areas. The coverage of the glaze should be around 30 percent of the working area (figure A).
4. While the glaze is still wet, use a damp cotton rag to soften out the edges, fading them into the dry background area. Make sure the glaze is evenly spread out with some areas slightly darker than others. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until the craft paper is covered (figure B). Allow to dry.
5. Squirt a little bronze and copper Aquacolor paints onto the paper, working on a small area at a time. Use a damp cotton rag to soften out the edges. Continue until the craft paper is completely covered (figure C). Let dry.
6. Tear up the paper by slicing it back onto itself, allowing the edge to become raw craft paper. Tear the pieces up in random, non-geometrical shapes (figure D).
7. Use the four-inch Whizz Fab roller to apply wallpaper paste to the back of the craft paper a few pieces at a time (figure E).
8. While the paste is damp, adhere it to a surface and smooth out the paper with the wallpaper smoother.
9. Cut the paper to fit the area with a metal blade and a razor blade knife.
10. Wipe off the face of the paper with a wet cellulose sponge to remove any excess glue.
11. Use a cotton rag to dry off the face of the paper.
12. Overlap the pieces to cover all areas. Continue until complete.
