Materials:
photo album
photos or copies of photos
rubber stamps - with 'openings'
background paper
Marvy brush art markers
Photo Safe Glossy sticker paper
X-Acto knife
scissors
stickers, stamps, and other embellishments for your album
laminate sheets or acid-free laminate sheets
optional: alphabet stamps
Steps:
- Coordinate photos with background papers to create a theme, and find related stamps with openings in them, such as a frame stamp, mirror, etc. Use stickers to enhance your album page.
- At your local copy center, color copy your photos in different sizes.
- Use art markers to color your rubber stamp.
- Stamp the image on a piece of sticker paper (use Photo Safe Glossy if you use your original photos), then cut out the image. Cut out the middle of the frame so your picture will show through.
- Peel a corner away from the frame and trim your photos to fit in the frame. This will allow you to make a mock page layout without making a commitment until you like what you see.
- When you have your desired layout, peel off the rest of the sticker paper, and adhere it to the photo.
- Arrange the pictures and add stamps, stickers, or letters to create a personal message.
- Make the album more durable by covering it with laminate plastic sheets or acid-free laminate sheets.
