Steps:1. Cut oval in center of marble green paper.
2. Follow instructions for the V-fold to fold all doilies (figures A, B & C).
3. Turn the folded pieces so that the side with the little pocket faces up (figure D) and the two open ends are underneath.
4. To assemble the lace frame: Starting along the side of the oval opening, slide the lower point (about 1/4 inch) of each piece into the pocket created by the lace edge of the preceding piece (figure E).
5. Line up the upper folded edge so that it lies along the center of the piece behind it. The outside edges should remain consistent. The amount of point inside the pocket (along the inside edge) will vary as you work your way around the irregular opening (figure F). Secure each piece with a small amount of adhesive. It will take 22 pieces to get around the oval.
6. Use the remaining four folded pieces as corner mounts by sliding the corner of the paper into the pocket created by the lace edge (part of the folded piece will lay behind the paper corner) (figure G).
7. Mount your marble green piece with the lace frame to the green mat board with adhesive. Remember to leave on opening at the top to slide in your photo (figure H).
8. Attach sticky-back easel to the back bottom center of the mat board.
