Interior designer Jan Page shares how to create faux stained glass using products found at a craft store:

  1. Draw a pattern on a sheet of paper and place pattern behind the piece of glass.
  2. Following the lines in the pattern, apply adhesive leading (figure A). Use liquid leading to fill in any corners for an authentic look.
  3. Fill in the spaces with the glass paint and use a toothpick to smooth out any bubbles (figure B). Let dry for eight hours.
