Seasonal Display
Each Halloween, Nancie hosts a dessert drop-in for friends. She decorates the front of her home with spooky Halloween-themed decorations for the kids, and reserves elegant fall-themed decorations for her dining room where desserts and drinks are served. After Halloween is over, she packs away the spooky-themed decorations but leaves the elegant dining room decor in place for Thanksgiving. Decorating for the season rather than just the holiday saves Nancie a lot of hassle and time.
