No-Sew Lion
Kim made this ferocious lion costume for her daughter, Hope, last Halloween. She began with a tan unitard, then added woolly fabric to the collar, ankles and cuffs. The woolly fabric was easy to attach to the jumpsuit with adhesive Velcro. Next, Kim added a tan fabric tail with a wooly tuft on the end and used coordinating fabric to create ears which she attached to a headband. Hope’s hair is naturally curly, so Kim easily teased it into a fluffy mane. Kim says she was proud to create the cutest lion she has ever seen, especially because she is a non-sewing mom.
