Ribbon-embellished wreath

1. Wrap the foam wreath blank with bias cut silk ribbon (figure A). Use straight pins to secure the ends.

2. Wrap chiffon ribbon around the wreath, making sure that sections of the silk ribbon still show (figure B).

3. Make a double bow with about three yards of chiffon ribbon. Pin the bow to the edge of the wreath (figure C).

Creating the flowers

1. To make a rose, fold one yard of 2-1/2-inch wide silk ribbon in half. Baste along the ends and unfolded edge of the ribbon (figure D).
