6. Apply gold adhesive size to the egg. Let the size sit until it turns from milky to clear.

7. Apply gold leaf onto the adhesive size. Press down lightly and burnish the gold leaf with a brush.

8. Allow the gold leaf to dry for about 30 minutes. Once it is dry, press the remainder of the leaf down to ensure you remove any that may not have stuck to the egg. Note: The adhesive size will remain sticky.
