4. Apply fabric to box using double-sided tape or glue, turning in 1/2 inch at top and 1/2 inch at bottom of box.

5. Glue trim at raw edge of fabric on inside of box (figure B).

6. Cut and glue felt to bottom of box, over the raw edge of fabric.

10. Glue trim over raw edge of fabric at top of box (figure D).

11. Glue remaining trim around bottom of box and another piece a few inches from bottom.

Fabric box decor

1. Glue together three or four leaves for base.

2. Make an eight-loop bow from ribbon then glue it onto the leaves.

3. Add pieces of greens and berries between loops of bow (figure E).

4. Glue miniature clothespin to bottom of decorated bow

5. Tie ribbon around box.

6. Clip decoration to ribbon where it crosses at center top of box.

This is the holiday box that keeps giving. Once opened, the clip decoration from the top can be used as an ornament on the tree or anywhere. The box can then be reused as a part of the Christmas decorations in future years.
