Steps: 1. Cut the piece of watercolor paper exactly to match the size of the theorem template.
2. Secure the "Up On The Rooftop" theorem stencil and follow painting instructions (figure A).
3. Center the "Up On The Rooftop" theorem stencil layer #1 on paper with masking tape and follow the painting instructions for "non-fabric application" and complete the theorem image (figure B).
4. Apply protective sealer or polyurethane per manufacturer instructions to both sides and allow to dry.
5. Cut the watercolor paper to the desired card size (figure C). Mark the center line of card and score. Set aside.
6. Cut out the theorem Christmas design following the "Up On The Rooftop" lines and make an incision cut or hole punch at the top and center.
7. Place the unfolded card down on the work surface and center the theorem cut-out. Mark the position of the hole in the ornament and make the same cut on the card stock.
8. Thread the ribbon through the ornament and card and tie it in place with a bow (figure D). Fold the card and insert personal greetings.
Placing Photos:
1. Paint the theorem design on one side of watercolor paper and let dry.
2. Turn over the theorem painting to the blank side.
3. Cut a six-inch piece of color-coordinated ribbon. Use a bead of craft glue to attach one end of the ribbon to the top of the design. Fold the ribbon in half and glue the ends together.
4. Use spray adhesive to cover the blank side of the card with adhesive. Attach the selected photos. Be sure the photograph is placed in the same direction as the theorem design on the front and is sized to fit the paper cutout.
5. Cut the card stock to the desired size. Mark the center line of the card and score. Fold in half. Use decorative-edge scissors to edge the card if desired.
6. Center the theorem design on the front of the card and use photo corners to attach, or unfold the card with the front of card facing up. Center the theorem design on the front of card and place a piece of light-weight masking tape under each corner of the ornament. Use a pencil to mark each corner and remove the theorem ornament. Use a craft knife to cut 1/4-inch, 45-degree angle cuts at each of the four corners. Remove the tape.
7. Use the tip of a craft knife to separate each cut and insert the ornament in your theorem-stenciled Christmas card.
