Handmade cards sent in by caller Julie Pearson of Traverse City, Mich.

The design elements of these beautiful cards are fashioned using a homemade mold and one-ply toilet tissue.

Pearson presses charms into a block of polymer clay to make molds.

Here's a finished mold.

The next step is to place a sheet of unpatterned, one-ply tissue paper over the mold, then moisten the tissue with water, pushing it into the mold using a stencil brush. It's fine to smooth wrinkles with your fingers. Pearson does eight layers of one-ply tissue paper for each design.

Once dry and removed from the mold, no one would ever guess that this design element is made from toilet tissue.

Next, Pearson frames the design by taping it into a piece of folded card stock with a frame cutout in the front. She camouflages the back of the design with a piece of paper, creating the inside of the card.

Janet Gillmore of Grive Hill, Ala., sent in this great idea. She covered satin ball ornaments in a mixture of half decoupage medium and half water, then decorated them with beads, pine cones and more for hardy outdoor ornaments. Here's the best part of the idea--she hangs them to dry on a three-tier pie holder.

Host Carol Duvall made her own version of ornaments using Gillmore's idea. She coverd the balls with glitter and hung them to dry on a tomato cage.
