Quilt Artist

Artist Wendy Richardson describes her art form as "painting with fabric."

She begins by over-dying printed fabrics by hand. Then, working in a free-form style, she starts to piece bits of cloth together.

Her completed wall-hangings feature both machine quilting, along with embroidery for added dimension.

Richardson also makes one-of-a-kind garments using the same dyeing and quilting style.
