Watercolor Quilts

Carol welcomes guests Pat Maxiner Margaret and Donna Ingram Slusser, who prove that their colorwash quilting technique resembles the paintings of French Impressionists like Monet and Serat. Pat and Donna recommend selecting fabrics with a variety of colors and lines, Floral patterns, for example, almost always work well on a quilt. They also mention that the subject of the patterns matters less than their light and dark values and composition.
