Neck pillow

Materials:

Dawn Sayelle, Art. A3075 (3 * oz. skein); yarns containing Solutia Acrilan or Bounce-Back fibers
1 skein #420 Antique Rose
1 skein #319 Off White
Crochet hook, size H, or size required to crochet to gauge
Fiberfill stuffing, 12 oz.'s

Size: About 14" long

Gauge: 4 sc = 1"

Pillow:
With Antique Rose, ch 58.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across-57 sc. Ch 1, turn.
Row 2: Working in back loops only, sc in each sc across. Ch 1, turn.
Rows 3 and 4: Repeat Row 2. At end of last row, cut yarn.
Rows 5 through 8: With White, repeat Row 2.
Rows 9 through 12: With Antique Rose, repeat Row 2.
Rows 13 through 56: Repeat Rows 5 through 12, end last repeat at Row 8. At end of last row, fasten off.

Finishing:
Sew starting ch edge to last row. Work a running stitch around one edge of pillow; draw snugly to gather.
Secure yarn. Stuff pillow snugly. Close remaining open end as before.

Buttons:
Make 2. With Antique Rose, make sl knot 4" from end of yarn, ch 5 and join with sl st to from a ring.
Rnd 1: Working over 4" end and into ring, work 10 sc in ring, join with sl st to first sc. Pull 4" end to draw center together; secure end.
Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in each sc around, join-20.
Rnd 3: * Sc in next sc skip 1 sc; repeat from * around, join.
Rnds 4 and 5: Repeat Rnd 3. At end of last rnd, cut yarn leaving 5" end. Using 5" end, sew one button over center of gathering at each end of pillow.
