6. Leave a 2-inch space and bend the wire going up 3/4 inch space and bend the wire down 1-inch making a leaf shape.

7. Slightly bend wire and go down leaving another 1-inch space. Repeat step 6, going in the opposite direction.

8. Slightly bend wire and go down 1-1/2 inches. The stem is completed.
