17. Use a paper pattern to cut a flower from the copper sheet. Run #8 wire through the flower to make the stamen and stem. Curl the wire for the stamen and tuck in a glass glob, bead or marble. Crimp the flower to the stem. To keep the back of the flower from opening, use solder and copper foil. Cut one thin strip along the back of the flower (leaving it attached) to wrap around the lattice and hold the flower in place. Cut another, larger and irregular strip off the back and pull out to make a leaf.
