Metal Fish Sculpture project by Michael Gilbert from Friendswood, Texas.Michael Gilbert was an air conditioning technician who had a passion for creating art out of metal. Michael taught himself to 'do with' whatever he found, including old signs, antique car and helicopter parts. One day a friend encouraged him to enter his pieces in a local art show, so he gathered up everything he had made over the past several years, and he sold each and every item! Michael's creations won first place at the Houston International Festival two years in a row. When he isn’t creating metal art, he is spending time with his wife and young children.
