Chalkboard Table

Materials:

solid pine board
leg plates and hardware
21" wooden screw-in legs
wood primer
spray or roll-on chalkboard paint
3" short nap roller
stencils and tape
chalk and eraser
acrylic paint and brush

Steps:

1. Paint the board with wood primer and let it dry.
2. Apply green or black chalkboard paint and let it dry.
3. Tape alphabet stencils securely around the border of the table, and fill them in using acrylic paints and a brush.
4. Attach one leg plate to each corner of the board and screw in the wooden legs.

Note: Over time, the eraser will not remove all of the chalk residue. Use a damp cloth to gently wipe off chalk dust and touch up areas with chalkboard paint.
