Party Time

Carol offers some ideas for making your Halloween party truly ghoulish.

Games

Kids sit either sit around in a circle in dark room or be blindfolded. Pass around the following:

eyeballs - peeled grapes
bloody fingers - pieces of carrots stuck in bowl of red gelatin
brains - cooked spaghetti; add oil so spaghetti doesn't stick together

Haunted House

Tie one end of a ball of twine to a door knob, string it through the house. Hang wet things from ceiling or ceiling fan. Include scary noises and boxes full of "gross" things that kids can put their hands in (like above items under "Games"). Blindfold kids and have them walk through the house.

Vampire Teeth

Cut a set of "front teeth" out of an orange peel. Turn it inside out, so the white part is on the outside, and put it on a cardboard roll with a rubber band until it dries out. Some of the "teeth" can be blackened with a permanent marker.
