Wooden Lazy Susan

Susan Elbertson, of Alexandria, Va., spent her formative years in the Panama Canal area while her father worked with the Army Core of Engineers. Although exposed to the Kuna Indian culture there, she never realized the influence it had on her until her teenage years when she recognized the reoccurring pattern in her constant doodling. Now, after a career as a web developer, Susan is returning to her roots to repeat those vibrant patterns in a whimsical way on furniture, wall hangings and her newest project, a painted wooden Lazy Susan.
