Steps:

1. Working over the nonstick craft sheet, fill the melting pot with Gold Utee powder to the "max" line. Add 1/2 to 3/4 scoop of F-L-E-X to powder. Turn heat to 340 degrees, cover and allow to fully melt (Figure A). Do not stir during the melting proecess, as stirring causes air pockets.
2. Once fully melted, stir gently using Kool Toolz spatula.
3. Get out the smaller cookie cutter that you will use for the center shape.
4. Mix equal parts of the Mold n Pour blue/white molding putty until it is a solid color. Roll it into a large ball and press the cookie cutter straight down into it, smoothing out the top (Figure B). Use your fingers to remove any excess around the edges. (You may wind up discarding this excess because once it hardens it is useless.)
5. Allow the Mold n Pour to sit inside the cookie cutter until it completely hardens, usually about five minutes. Once hardened, push out the blue silicone rubber mold (Figure C). This will become your nonstick center mold. (You no longer need the small cookie cutter.)
6. Pour some of the contents of the pot onto your nonstick craft sheet and immediately place the large cookie cutter (the one you will use for the box) into it (Figure D). Allow to harden, then lift from sheet and poke the Utee out from the cutter. This will be your box lid. (Don’t worry: the hole for the lid comes later.)
7. Now would be a good time to add additional Gold Utee powder to your pot to melt.
8. Working over the nonstick craft sheet, spray the inside of cookie cutter with silicone spray thoroughly.

9. Pour the melted Utee into the large cookie cutter. It's not necessary to come all the way to the top; in fact, better that you don’t as it will be very hard to get the Utee out. Fill about 1/2 to 3/4 full. Now insert and hold the blue mold in the center until it can stand on its own (about 30 seconds, Figure E).
10. Allow everything to completely harden.
11. Once hardened, pull the blue center mold out (it will release with ease), then release the Utee from the cookie cutter. You will now have the entire base of the box (Figure F).
12. Cut a thin wood dowel about an inch long.
13. Lay the lid on the box.
14. Use a wood-burning type tool to make a hole through the lid. It should touch through to the base (Figure G).
15. Remove lid and burn hole through the box. Tip: Blow on the hole as you burn through so it doesn’t reseal itself.
16. Once the hole is as deep as you want it, insert the dowel and add a drop of Zap-a-Gap super glue to keep the dowel strongly in place (Figure H).
17. Replace lid by aligning it over the dowel (Figure I).
18. Add fibers around the dowel, then cut the dowel down with scissors so a bead can fit on it but not have any dowel sticking through it (Figure J).
19. Reinforce fibers and bead with super glue (Figure K).
20. Box will now swing open!
