Book Cover Edging

Carol Duvall Show : Episode CDS-131 -- More Projects »
Carol has a practical way to prevent the edges of paper book covers from fraying and tearing. She suggests putting cellophane tape along the edge - simple, yet effective over the life of the book.

Merely remove the book jacket and spread it out on a flat surface. Weight it down, and apply tape on one of the long edges, with half the width of the tape on the jacket. Fold the tape over to the other side of the jacket. Do the same on the other long edge and the two sides. That's all there is to it!
