Tip: Book Shopping

When shopping for craft books, especially the more expensive books found in bookstores, is to REALLY look at the projects and not just the "pretty" photographs. While the overwhelming majority of such books are exactly what they appear to be, there are some that give an impression of elegant and unusual projects. On closer inspection, however, you can see that the items themselves are not nearly as grand as the beautiful photography, perfect background and mood lighting suggests. It IS true that first impressions are not always accurate!
