Steps:

  1. Place sheet of shrink plastic on top of  Veggie Leather sheet or mouse pad. Stamp three large size rubber stamp designs on the white shrink plastic using black permanent ink. Stamp one jumbo size rubber stamp design on the white shrink plastic.
  2. Cut out all the pieces. Punch a hole in the upper left and right corners of the jumbo piece and one hole in the middle of the bottom edge of each earring.
  3. Shrink each piece with the heat tool until it lays flat.
  4. Use the Autumn Leaf inkpad to apply ink directly in the center area of the jumbo rubber stamp design. Heat set color for approximately five minutes. Using the Sky Mist ink pad, rub color onto the edges of the piece, around all sides. Heat to set color on remaining three pieces. Heat set again.
  5. Separate a ready-made, beaded necklace in the middle and attach each end with a jump ring to the top two holes in the jumbo rubber stamp piece. Attach silver beads to the bottom of the earrings.
  6. Apply earring studs to the upper middle of each earring using adhesive dots. Glue smaller rubber stamp design on top of larger rubber stamp design using Crafter's Pick Bond glue.

Tips:
  • Sand the shrink plastic before stamping if you plan to color images with colored pencils.
  • To make a linked bracelet, cut thin shrink plastic into nine or more 2" heart, circle, star or rectangle shapes. Punch out the center of each shape using a decorative punch. Punch a hole at the top and bottom of each shape using a 1/8" punch. Shrink each plastic piece then create the bracelet by linking the pieces together using jump rings.
  • Shrink plastic shrinks approximately 60 percent. Use think shrink plastic if you have difficulty cutting or punching the thicker plastic. The thinner plastic works well when using decorative punches.
