Figure D
Travel along with The Carol Duvall Show cameras to take a tour of Andi Steinberg's home.

One of Steinberg's favorite pieces is an old square table with sides that she adorned with a door knob on one side and hinges that seem real but are really trompe l'oeil (figure A). It appears as if the door will open, but it doesn't.

Another object d'art, a pine and brass mirror, has been painted to give it an old feel, and a second mirror has received a decoupage treatment with old cards and memorabilia from Steinberg's family (figure B).

Steinberg's dining room valance was made from material that coordinated perfectly with the room. From some of the leftover fabric, Steinberg removed a striped piece to use as a border along the top of the walls (figure C). She then used a spray adhesive to attach this striped edging in place.

Also in the home is an extraneous table that did not quite fit in with Steinberg's scheme, so she made a tray out of molding to set on top of it (figure D).
