She takes viewers from the lakefront to the craft room. First, make a stop at Carol's worktable to see what works are in progress, including tin can-top flowers and knotted bracelets, which are being made in preparation for Carol's "A Blast from the Past" segments. Carol's plaster of Paris hands are on display while her daughter-in-law, Rita, is there painting them.

Viewers get a real understanding of what it takes to be the Queen of Crafts, while rummaging through 11 cartons of mail! Letters are stacked high and must all be read in order for Carol to choose crafters for her popular Shoebox segments. The North Pole has nothing on Carol!
