Lighted Glamour Mirror

Materials:

flat wooden box
frame
pencil
drill & 3/8" paddle bit
screws
mirror
industrial-strength adhesive
latex paint & supplies
clamp

Steps:

1. Paint the flax box and frame with latex paint. If you can’t find a box and frame that match up in size, get a frame cut to fit the box you will be using.

2. Pre-drill holes along the edge where the lights will go: With a pencil, make a mark approximately every 3 inches around the frame. Then drill a hole through the frame and down into the box using a 3/8-inch paddle bit. Use a clamp to hold the two pieces together if you don’t have someone to help.

3. Turn the box over and attach the box to the frame with a screw in each corner.

4. Push the lights through the holes. When they are all in, push the remaining cord behind the box.

5. To add the mirror: Turn it over and apply industrial-strength glue to the back and place it in the center of box.

6. To enhance the piece even more, add four smaller mirrors to each corner.
