Interior design enthusiast and project manager Jeribai Tascoe created this master bedroom with some serious repurposing. He painted the nightstands a bright yellow to give them a fresh feel.
Jeribai added window treatments and sheers to highlight the high ceilings and also keep filtered light coming in all day long.
Master Bedroom Fireplace
\"My wife loves a good fireplace and we had the space in our master bedroom to add a simple but elegant electric fireplace,\" Jeribai says. It's the perfect complement to the space.
This kitchen desperately needed an island. Jeribai's solution? He chose a fantastic red-stained island and hand-selected a quartz stone countertop for it. The backsplash is done with a mix of travertine and glass tiles.
Aruba-Inspired Master Bedroom
After Jeribai and his wife spent their honeymoon in Aruba, they wanted to bring home the feel from the island combined with their love of fine hotels. This bathroom, which features colorful glass tiles and an incredible steam shower Jacuzzi, is the beautiful result.
Jeribai did all of the tilework in the bathroom himself, including the mosaic glass tiles for the wall and the white marble tile vanity mirrors. An espresso vanity with a glass top keeps the room sleek and modern.
\"I've been playing the drums since I was 3 years old and I needed a studio room for my drum set,\" Jeribai says. He converted a tool shed into the perfect drum booth. From bar studs, he finished the entire space and then treated it with colored acoustic panels, custom sound-absorption panels and natural pinewood trim and accents.
Eclectic Home Office
\"My wife has an eclectic, glamorous style and I brought it home in her office,\" says Jeribai. He paired modern touches with worldly accessories.
