Betony (Betonica officinalis)

Preferring slightly acidic and damp soils, betony is a perennial that belongs to the dead-nettle family. Its serrated, oblong leaves grow in pairs along its square stem. It produces purple or occasionally white flower spikes. This fully hardy plant prefers partial sun and well-drained soil. H: 12 inches; S: 8 inches
