Garlic Mustard (Alliaria petiolata)

Also known as Jack-by-the-hedge, garlic mustard is commonly found in hedgerows and woodland edges. Its kidney-shaped, serrated, alternately spaced leaves smell mildly of garlic. It has small, white clusters of flowers followed by long, ribbed seed pods. This fully hardy plant prefers partial sun and well-drained soil. H: 24 inches; S: 12 inches
