Add texture and interest with a burlap fabric wreath. Perfect for everyday decor, the wreath can also easily be embellished for any holiday.Kim Stoegbauer, The TomKat Studio; Photography by Vicki Lynn Photography
Cut burlap into strips, approximately 40 strips, two inches by 22-1/2 inches.
Tie a strip of fabric into a knot around foam wreath.
Trim ends of burlap strip at a 90-degree angle.
Continue tying burlap strips around the wreath, making sure to overlap the prior strip with the next strip. Be sure to knot close to the prior knot so that the foam does not show. Trim edges of strips as you go.
Attach holiday embellishment, which can be found at craft store, by sticking wire into the foam wreath or with hot glue, if necessary.
Tie ribbon around wreath for hanging, if desired.
