Disney Celebrates the Holidays

Every year Walt Disney World Resort creates a spectacular seasonal wonderland, the result of intensive preparation over a period of eight months.

  • The Castle Dream Lights give Cinderella Castle a holiday glow with 200,000 twinkling white LED lights.
  • Guests get a grand holiday welcome at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, just one of the many Walt Disney World® Resort locations magically transformed with a total of 15 miles of garland, 300,000 yards of ribbon, 1,314 wreaths and 8.5 million lights.
  • The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights brightens the holidays with over 5 million lights, 10 miles of rope lights and 100 gallons of magical snow each night at Disney's Hollywood Studios™.
  • Disney's Beach Club Resort features the Gingerbread Carousel, a sweet holiday tradition created from real sugar, gingerbread and giant candy canes by Disney’s Yacht Club pastry chefs.
  • The holidays come alive with all the magic of Christmas on Main Street, U.S.A.® at the Magic Kingdom® Park, where you can also see the 26-foot wide Christmas tree adorned with 5,500 lights.
  • Mickey's Jingle Jungle Parade transforms into a music-filled holiday celebration that winds its way through Disney's Animal Kingdom® theme park. The parade features 70 cast members including performers, drivers and coordinators.
