Sunrise SuiteWith a gorgeous east-facing exposure, the homeowners wanted the morning sun to shed its light on this room. Designer Michael Logue mixed and matched materials to make the room glisten and shine all morning long. The shower walls are covered in iridescent honey-onyx tile while the tub surround, floors and walls are all wrapped in glass-pebbled stone.
Glass StonesThe glass-pebbled stone covers the floors and walls and serves as the backsplash around the vanity. When the sunlight hits the stone in a certain way, its depth and intensity become very apparent.
To counterbalance the tile and stone, Logue opted for a softer, richer palette for the floating vanity. The cabinet is made from eucalyptus, a material not normally associated with bathroom cabinetry. Although the vanity has a minimalist design, it holds maximum storage underneath. Extra storage is also concealed behind the mirrors.
Honey OnyxThe walls around the elevated tub are covered in an iridescent honey-onyx tile. When the sunlight mixes with the water, the bathroom is literally awash in light. The combination shower and tub is well equipped with a rain showerhead in the ceiling, various sprays and a handheld showerhead on the wall.
Hidden FaucetsThe unique chrome faucets are almost as cool as the sinks. The hidden water spouts were designed to feel like a water source somewhere in nature, naturally falling into the stone basin.
