Cleveland, Ohio, may be known for its cold winters, but it also has some gorgeous summers. Homeowners Pam and Tom Faludy enjoy every minute of those beautiful summer days in their amazing outdoor kitchen. When they first moved into the home, the backyard was in need of some major work. So they pulled down a few trees and called in designer Rob Santos to help them create an outdoor oasis.
The alfresco kitchen is equipped with all the latest amenities such as a refrigerator, sink, two-burner cooktop and a massive grill. The five-burner grill puts out 96,000 BTUs of heat and has a convection feature. When the grill reaches 350 degrees, the convection fan starts circulating air around the food.
The open-air pavilion has plenty of seating for a crowd. Between the grand columns are a large dining room table, barstools and a cozy seating area by the fireplace.
The multilevel countertop is composed of beautiful slabs of granite. Granite is a perfect choice for an outdoor kitchen. Even in the snowy Cleveland winters, the surface remains durable and weatherproof.
The hearth is made from the same granite tiles as the countertops. The fireplace is a vent-free model, so the air escapes through the front of the fireplace to keep everyone warm and cozy.
