Living/Dining Retreat

See how a cold, hollow living/dining area is transformed into a warm, inviting space.

Kellee and Blas Cueto's first place has a spacious living/dining area, but the open floor plan currently feels hollow and cold. Designer Franzella Guido intends to change that by implementing a Frank Lloyd Wright-type design that involves breaking up a large empty room into small intimate spaces.

Designer Franzella Guido made the dining space a perfect place for family dinners, good conversation and lively entertainment, complete with a new table and warm lighting.

The living area is a good size and has lots of potential, but the homeowners simply don't know where to begin.

Designer Franzella Guido livened up the room by bringing in a new leather couch and a great entertainment center that includes the homeowners' big-screen TV.
