Bamboo WainscotingLouvered Wall Divider/Shelf–$20
A set of salvaged louvered doors are transformed into a divider/shelf to help conceal some of the homeowner's excess storage.
In keeping with the beach theme a six-foot tall bamboo divider is cut in half and fastened to the wall side-by-side to create wainscoting.

Plants and Paper Lantern–$60
Two palm trees are placed against the bamboo wainscot wall and a paper lantern is hung above. According to the fundamentals of feng shui, flowering plants or bamboo should be placed along an east wall where the sun rises - this will bring the homeowners happiness and well-being.

A low table is made using 1" x 4" boards to make it look like a dock. Wheels are attached to the bottom so it can function as a rolling coffee table. A skirt is hung around the sides of the dock to allow for storage underneath, and a blue light is placed under the dock to give the illusion of water. To give the dock additional purpose a few pillows are thrown on top so it can also serve as a daybed.
The homeowner's futon is placed near the dock/table and a swing chair is hung from the ceiling to create the main seating area.
Fabric DividersRoom Divider–$59
A room divider is created by hanging black and white curtains from a wire cable. The curtains can easily be pulled back and forth as needed to separate the homeowner's workspace from his living space.

Painted TableYin-Yang Table–$40
To make the tabletop, a circle is cut from plywood and a yin-yang symbol is painted on top. Since this piece use to be a sink cabinet it will represent the feng shui water element and be placed in the north side of the loft.
An old oven cabinet is converted into a bench with extra storage. This piece will represent the feng shui fire element and be placed in the south side of the loft.
Shear gauze panels are hung on the windows to soften the brick walls.
Tiki TorchesTiki Torches–$29
Two tiki torches are electronically wired with flickering bulbs for a flame effect. The torches are then fastened to each side of the dock.
