Contemporary Oasis

Designer Eric Baldus steps in and creates a clean contemporary oasis fit for the whole family. His design includes reforming the current brick patio into a beautiful sunburst shape and planting trees to act as a privacy screen.

Before: This uneven, brick patio is in bad shape with weeds growing up through the cracks. The homeowners want a usable space that's functional as a kids' play area and suitable for relaxing and entertaining.

Before

Before: The neighbors can easily see into this backyard jungle of weeds. The homeowners want to clean up the area and make it a private space that they can enjoy, without a watching eye next door.

After

After: The new patio is a hip and modern extension of the home's interior. Using recycled brick pavers, it features a unique sunburst design. An elegant and contemporary screen made of cedar timbers creates privacy.

After

After: The yard now doubles as a great spot for the kids to romp around and for the adults to sit and relax. Trees and shrubs along the fence provide screening from the neighbors.
