Denver Loft Living Room Converted Into Multi-Purpose Space

Resident designer Carriann Arkowski works her magic on an oddly shaped room.

After five years traveling Eastern Europe in the Army, bachelor Tony Robinson is buying a loft in downtown Denver. But his 29 x 11-foot living room feels more like a bowling alley than the cool party room and home office Tony would like. Designer Carriann Arkowski takes on the challenge.

Living Room, After

Designer Carriann Arkowski adds function and warmth to this oddly shaped room. She uses mirrors to give the illusion of more open space and creates a new mini office next to the window with a view of the Denver skyline.
