Dragonfly Dining

A designer redoes a kitchen to better suit the homeowner's personality.

Tia Talbert's first place is a charming Denver bungalow with a tiny kitchen whose only window is blocked by the refrigerator. She enlists the help of designer Carriann Arkowski to make the space more functional.

Designer Carriann Arkowski finds inspiration in Talbert's love of dragonflies to create a kitchen that both suits her personality and restores the view from the kitchen window. The new, cozy breakfast nook really lets the sun shine in.

The dining room was an overwhelming blank slate for homeowner Tia Talbert.

Now it is light, airy and more contemporary, with a dragonfly them sprinkled throughout.
